About the Founder

Deacon Michael Halbrook is a Catholic permanent deacon who created Emmaus Disciples because he watched faithful Catholics — himself included — struggle with the gap between wanting to share their faith and knowing how. This journey is what he wished someone had given him.

The road to Emmaus didn’t end at the inn. It led back to Jerusalem.
