Reflection
Mary doesn't recognize Jesus until he says her name. One word. That's the most intimate moment in the Easter story. The Risen Christ is not a system of thought. He's a person who knows your name and speaks it when you're lost. In your twenties, surrounded by noise and options and identities, the deepest thing that can happen is hearing your name spoken by someone who actually knows you. Jesus does. Listen.
Three thousand were baptized that day in Acts. Mary's personal encounter and the Church's public explosion happen on the same page. The personal and the communal aren't opposites. They feed each other.
